Accessory – Headband-Sweatband
Headbands that are sweatbands are the first accessory I purchase for my pickleball outfits. I look for ones with matching wristbands if possible. Sweatbands help eliminate or at least reduce sweating into your eyes while playing, especially when it is really hot. I wear them year round.

Wearing a headband to absorb sweat getting into your eyes also allows you to play without sunscreen on your forehead because it is covered. There is nothing worse than getting sweat and sunscreen in your eyes when you are playing. I also wear the headband under the visor to absorb forehead sweat.
Sweatbands should be washed after every use and air dried to preserve the elasticity.
TIP: If the headband does not have matching wristbands I will purchase two headbands and make matching wristbands out of the second one.
TIP: For some outfits I have multiple headbands. I wear these outfits on really hot days so I can switch out the headbands when they become wet. I always carry an extra white or black one in my pickleball bag.
