Accessory – The Visor
The Visor – an absolute necessity for pickleball play outdoors. Keeps the sun off your face and out of your eyes. Visors are so much better than hats as they let the heat escape off the top of your head. A Visor is also best for long hair as the pony tail doesn’t get trapped under the hat.

Velcro at the back of the visor allows you to tighten it enough to avoid it falling off during play. However I am careful not to catch my hair in the velcro. Sometimes the visor will get wet from perspiration, in those cases I make sure to put it in the sun to dry off. If they need a wash I do it by hand.
TIP: I wear a sweatband under my visor and position it under my pony tail. Then the closure for the velcro is on the sweatband and not directly on my hair.
