The best method for doing this is Contrast Hydrotherapy. Contrast Hydrotherapy constricts and dilates blood vessels by alternating between cold and warm water. Saunas and hot tubs provide the best method for heat therapy to penetrate deep into soft tissues to help alleviate soreness . Cold therapy like a cold plunge of 10-15 minutes constricts blood vessels and suppresses inflammation.
