The Skort
As I said, all of my pickleball outfits start with the Skort. Options for skorts include long, short, pleated, unpleated, side split and some with special little elements. Pockets are a must. Matching your Skort with underwear is a good idea.

I prefer a skort that allows for tightening at the waist. If it doesn’t have that, I have an ingenious way to add that easily and will be doing a future post about it.
Go for simple colors to start off as they are easy to match your other basic elements, especially your tank top. Start with a color that you are very comfortable with. I suggest black or navy.
Look for Material that is – 90% Polyester, 10% Spandex. Stretch – Medium，Thickness – Medium，Softness and machine washable.
TIP: for care, I tend to wash my pickleball outfits on delicate and hang dry so they last longer and stay looking good. I don’t iron my skorts.

I have this skort in a few different colors. If you have never worn a skort before or prefer to have a skort that is longer this is the one. It comes in multiple colors and the sizing is generous. It comes in sizes small to XXL. I have the XXL and found the size to be accurate. The skort also features a draw string and side pockets at the side. This is a fun Skort – a little shorter and I really like the pleats. It’s a mini skort with pockets. The pockets are under the skort on the short part. The liner is stretchy and quick drying. A high waisted skort with larger pleats, this version is more of a mid length with tummy control. Sizing from small to xxl offer options and five colors are available.
